The Law Offices of Gregory W. Smith, LLP is a boutique, plaintiff-side employment firm with a thriving practice in employment discrimination, harassment, and retaliation actions.
Our office has over 40 years of combined experience representing victims of sexual harassment, unlawful discrimination, and whistleblower retaliation.
We are seeking a full-time attorney to handle his or her own caseload, and to be involved in all aspects of those cases, including trial.
This is not a firm where you will draft memos and sit on the sidelines; we will teach you how to be a litigator. You will be assigned a caseload and have primary responsibility for court appearances, depositions, law and motion, written discovery, and pleadings in all your cases.
You will also second chair or third chair trials in your cases if that is something that interests you. Our office tries cases regularly, so this is an excellent long-term opportunity to grow as a litigator and a trial lawyer.
Applicants must have strong legal research and writing skills, and competitive applicants will have judicial clerkship or research attorney experience.
Salary range is $100,000-$200,000, commensurate with experience. Benefits include PPO health insurance, 401(k), and three weeks of paid vacation per year. Successful candidate will also be eligible for equity interest after the first year. Work arrangement will be hybrid to balance training and mentorship with convenience.
